Period/Date: Likely 1st quarter of the 19th c.
Materials: Vesi wood
Description: This classic old Ula features a compact head with attractive tiered lobes! It has a robust shaft, having rich grain and good color. The butt of the hand is recessed and formed like it originally had an ivory inlay. It features 5.5 inches of chip carving on its hand grip. There is a natural knot hole or divot through the top of the head. Some slight loss and overall wear to the central row of larger lobes. Presented on a custom display stand.
