Fine Old Dayak Beaded Baby Carrier, Borneo Indonesia
Origin: Indonesia, Borneo, Dayak People Provenance: Private Nevada collection, Field collected by Mark Johnson in Kalimantan in the 1990's.

Description: This impressive "ba" has been used for generations. It is all original with three superbly carved struts, featuring six detailed guardian figures. Bold geometric beadwork geometric panels framed by pendant bells and fringe. It comes with 8x12 inch photos taken in situ inside the village long house. It shows long use and is in excellent condition.
