Origin: N. Philippines, Luzon, Ifugao People (Provenance: Recently uncovered in an old Barn in Connecticut. Collected and brought back during the Philippine American War 1899-1902 )

Materials: Extremely heavy dense hardwood (Likely Narra)
Description: This panel fragment is deeply carved with chevron patters and is reminiscent of the work of American Artist Frank Stella. A high design modernist piece for any interior. Significant age and use patina. Note the left edge of the panel is two inches thick and tappers down to one inch on the other side like it was a door panel.
