Unusually Long C. 1900 South African Ceremonial Beaded Pipe Stem

Description: This pipe stem shows amazing craftsmanship and is beautifully embellished with countless multicolor trade beads. There are 9 panels of alternating color beads in a kind of crisscross diamond pattern. It is missing its pipe bowl. There about 10 percent bead loss and unraveling mostly at the top region. The stem is completely hollow and has an attached ebony color stem.
