Description: This ancient ancestor mask has a very impressive encrusted surface (presented on a custom wood & metal stand). It is a very classic example, carved with non-metal tools, having a profound spiritual presence. In good condition for its age yet it shows significant long field use. There is some loss and erosion on the back side. It once has pierced side holes for attachment around the perimeter which are worn away.
