Origin: W. Polynesia, Samoa 


Period/Date: Late 19th- Early 20th C.    

        

Materials:   hardwood  


Description: This classic heavy Kava bowl is simplistic yet elegant.  I has a single pierced lug hole for hanging through its front appendage.  The wood has warm color and a varied patina. At some point it had an application of old varnish. Good condition with Some minor separations in the wood.
