Materials:  Cloth, Resin pitch or lacquer, dyed red wool, trade beads, fringe

Description:  This spectacular pair of Yao ceremonial "mountain-peaked" hats are in remarkable condition for their age.  Each is a stunning "form object" and is presented on a custom metal display stand.  Increasingly these are being favored by interior designers for their bold sculptural statements.
