Origin:  Central Africa, Congo, Njem Bumali    (Provenance:  In February we purchased a 350+ piece collection of African and Oceanic Weapons from an English Gentlemen in Suffolk UK.  This special "throwing knife" is among a small group of quality pieces we've held back specifically for our website clients)

Period/Date: 19th C.   

Materials:  forged iron, wood

Description:  Presented on a bronze-tone display base.  In good condition.  A similar example can be seen on page 184 figure 338, 339 of "African Weapons" by Fishcher and Zirngibl.
