Origin: S. Africa, Zulu peole     (Provenance:  In February we purchased a 350+ piece collection of African and Oceanic Weapons from an English Gentlemen in Suffolk UK.  This special "spear" is among a small group of quality pieces we've held back specifically for our website clients)

Materials:  iron, hardwood, hide stitching, copper wire

Description:  Here's a rare and authentic "assegai" spear.  In excellent condition with intact hide binding on the shaft and beautifully formed barrel-like pommel with grooves.
