Description:  This is probably the most powerful and compelling of all tribal art objects I've owned.  It is the embodiment of the mystical and supernatural.  This mask is very early and shows significant long traditional use.  I don't feel it would be any stretch to categorize it as a "masterpiece".  As the mask was passed down from one generation to the next it was carefully mended with hand forged iron staples to extend its useful life.  Although the mask may appear fragile its integrity is good.  It has an amazing surface patination and is presented on a custom bronze display stand.  Export stamp is on the back.

Dimensions:   Height 13 5/8"  (34.5 cm), Width 8 3/8"  (21.2 cm)
