Description:  I just had the opportunity to reacquire this  archaic style chest ornament which I sold a number of years ago.  This incredible piece is esthetically quite "brute" having a powerful presence which is undeniable!   Few other trophy heads show this kind of tension in expression.   It is also noteworthy to mention its volume and depth is substantial measuring 2.25".  This results in the head having a three dimensional presence.  It shows significant age and use having acquired a dark varied patina found only on the oldest examples.

Dimensions:   Height 3.25"  (8.2 cm), Width 2 7/8"  (7.4 cm)
