Origin: Central Mexico, Mexican Highlands, Michoacan Culture Provenance: Ex. collection of Dr. George Alan Solem, American malacologist (curator of invertebrates at the Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago) It is believed that Dr. Solem likely acquired the figure in the 1970's from either Harry Franklin Gallery in Beverly Hills or J.J.
