It has been used for countless ceremonies and has acquired a blackened heavily encrusted patina from sacrificial libations and rice wine. It is VERY RARE to find authentic hipags these days let alone of this age and quality! "Hipag are minor war deities and are invoked during ceremonies dealing with violence and aggressive actions. These deities are firmly associated with head hunting and sorcery. These figures serve as the vehicles through which certain hipag deities are called to the aid of their owner.
