Origin: Northern Philippines, Bontoc/ Ifugao (Provenance: Beyer family collection. By descent through the family. Acquired from Dr. Henry Otley Beyer's Granddaughter. Dr. Beyer has been recognized as "The Father of Philippine Anthropology") Period/Date: Early 20th century Materials: boar's tusks, rattan Description: Here's a group undecorated early "tangkil" armlets together with two pendants. In good condition showing various patinas and wear patterns. The one in the upper left corner has a later rattan band mixed with wire. Sold as a group.
