Origin: N. Cameroon or Chad, Mandara Mountains, Kirdi People or related group    (Provenance: Acquired from an old collection in Amsterdam, Netherlands)

Period/Date: Early to mid 20th century

Materials:  fiber, beads, cowrie shells

Description:  This apron features classic diamond patterns and shows obvious age and use.  In very good condition and it doesn't appear to have ever been mended or reworked.  Note this piece looks older in person than the photos suggest.
