CLUB (A)

Caraja or Kayapo people.  43.75" (111 cm) by 5" wide overall (13 cm). Beautiful example, custom stand, original dry patina.  Magnificent geometric woven binding.  Note: the shaft of the club looks curved in the photo but in fact it is not.  $2500 (shipping included)

(B) SHAMAN'S DANCE CLUB/ STAFF 

Wayana people.  47" (19.5 cm) by 4.5" wide overall (11.5 cm). Uncommon sword-like dance club with attached Parrot feathers on each side.  Believed to have been danced by a shaman during special ceremonies.  Custom stand, original dry patina.  Very striking in person!  SOLD

Caraja or Kayapo people.  41.5" (105.5 cm) by 4" wide overall (10 cm). A handsome linear example featuring a fluted upper shaft with domed head, custom stand, original dry patina.  Very fine quality rattan binding on lower shaft.   $1500 (shipping included)
